Poker Aces – how to play them

Poker Aces refers to two aces being dealt pre-flop. It’s the strongest attainable pre-flop hand inhold’em Poker. But despite this many bettors find themselves on the losing end when dealt this hand.
When you’re dealt a pair of Aces, you just don’t drop out before theflop. You’re positioned with the best achievable hand at this stage of the round. So how do you bet with Poker Aces ? Do you basically go all-in? I’d say absolutely no to that.
Always remember, you are trying to generate as much profit out of this strong position. You need to maximize the opportunity. Going all-in will basically drive most players into dropping out without putting a wager.
If you’re in the starting position (first or second to cast a bet), you will place a single wager. Anyone with a decent hand will call, with luck someone will raise. If there has been a raise don’t spring to re-raise or call, wait for a small bit – make them think you’re considering your options and then call.
After the flop your tactic will be to eliminate anyone that might be able to build a straight or a flush. So I would begin to raise aggressively, if you are lucky you’ll fool one player into thinking that you are bluffing.
If you are in the middle or later spot (near the last to bet) you’ll watch as everybody calls and then raise. Even though you are holding a pair of aces, if possible try to avert a show-down. Guard your hand by forcing the other players fold following the flop. If you don’t abolish your competitors you risk losing your hand.
