Double-hand Poker is a current game with old ancestry. Founded on the old Chinese tile game and the modern American version of poker, Pai Gow poker bands together the east with the west in a fantastic game for starting gamblers.

Pai Gow is a poker game that puts the gambler vs. the croupier, unlike most other poker games that gamblers compete with other players. By gambling against the dealer, starting players do not have to worry about any other, more advanced people winning their money.

An additional Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game pace, rookies will be able to take their time and strategize while not having to make hasty selections.

It’s also much simpler to bet on for a long time with just a small bit of money since, to not win, each of your hands needs to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow uses 53 cards; the regular 52-card common deck and one joker. The gambler is given seven cards faces showing and the croupier is dealt seven cards face down.

One 5 card hand and a two card hand must be put together from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To win, a player is required to have both of his hand totals to be better than the casino’s.
