Double-hand Poker is a cutting-edge game with old ancestry. Based on the ancient Chinese domino game and the current American variation of poker, Pai Gow poker marries the far east with the western in a great game for beginner level players.

Pai Gow is a poker game that pits the player against the dealer, unlike nearly all other poker games that players compete against other gamblers. By playing against the dealer, new players do not need to be concerned about any other, more experienced people winning their $$$$.

Another Pai Gow advantage is the generally leisurely game play, rookies are able to take their time and plan while not needing to make frenzied choices.

It’s also easier to play for an extended time with just a small amount of cash seeing as, to lose, each of your hands has to be under both of the dealer’s hands.

Pai Gow is played with 53 cards; the regular 52-card basic deck and one joker. The player is given 7 cards faces showing and the house is given seven cards faces hidden.

A 5 card hand and one two card hand need to be made from the seven cards, the 5 card hand must be better than the 2 card hand. To succeed, a player is required to have both of his hand values to be higher than the casino’s.
