Phil Ivey has been labeled as the greatest poker contender in the world by quite a few of the top pros. Phil Ivey was born in Riverside, CA and relocated to NJ before reaching turning 1. Ivey credits his success to discipline and an immeasurable love for the game of poker. He states that he’s picking up skills every single day and is quite abashed about his success. Phil knows he makes mistakes every single session of poker and always strives to get better.

Although Phil has come first in some big-time tournaments, he favors destroying cash games on a regular basis.
