Poker has become world famous lately, with televised events and celebrity poker game events. The games popularity, though, arcs back in reality a bit farther than its television ratings. Over the years many variants on the earliest poker game have been developed, including some games that are not in fact poker anymore. Caribbean stud poker is 1 of the above-mentioned games. Despite the name, Caribbean stud poker is most closely related to chemin de fer than traditional poker, in that the gamblers bet against the house instead of the other players. The succeeding hands, are the established poker hands. There is no concealment or different types of deception. In Caribbean stud poker, you are required to ante up prior to the croupier saying "No more wagers." At that moment, both you and the dealer and of course all of the different gamblers acquire five cards. Once you have observed your hand and the casino’s initial card, you have to in turn make a call wager or give up. The call bet’s amount is equal to your original wager, meaning that the risks will have increased two fold. Giving Up means that your ante goes instantaneously to the house. After the bet is the face off. If the house doesn’t have ace/king or greater, your wager is returned, with a figure on par with the original wager. If the house does have ace/king or greater, you win if your hand is greater than the dealer’s hand. The house pays out cash even with your bet and controlled expectations on your call bet. These expectations are:

• Even for a pair or high card
• two to one for 2 pairs
• 3-1 for three of a kind
• four to one for a straight
• 5-1 for a flush
• seven to one for a full house
• twenty to one for a 4 of a kind
• fifty to one for a straight flush
• one hundred to one for a royal flush
